The Factory, the second volume in my latest epic fantasy series, The Colossi, is now available to preorder on Amazon and Kobo. In The Factory, Rath’s story continues beyond The Wall and into the next stage of The Colossi. The book moves deeper into the Ordeal, the mysteries of the great structures, and the growing danger facing Refuge. The Factory comes out on June 19, 2026. The third volume, The Tower, is entering the final stretch and is coming along well. The Tower will conclude The Colossi trilogy. It follows the final stretch of Rath’s journey as the unanswered questions around The Wall, The Factory, and The Tower come together with the survival of both Custodian and Monitor at stake. On my internal schedule, The Tower is due to be published in September 2026, though it might squeak into August.
Not This Side of Never; a self-contained novel in the Inconvenient Magic series, is also available on Amazon and Kobo for preorder. It will be published on July 14, 2026. This book focuses on humor, family, and the kind of adventure that a middle-aged father can have. My long-in-gestation conclusion to the Chronicle of the Rider, Rider’s Fate (former working title Rider’s Doom) is moving along with an internally scheduled release date of the October – December 2026 time frame.
